I checked my email this morning and found this add on AOL. After the house rejected the $700 billion bailout plan, the senate voted 74-25 in favor it. We got ourselves into this mess because Americans bought more house than their duel income paychecks could afford. I guess we havent learned anything from it... I guess we'll be right back here sooner than we think.
I was in Target a while back, when leaving, I found this in the parking lot. It's a peice of a credit card. I don't know if the owner cut it up before they went in or in frustration from a spending habit - cut it up on the way out. Proverbs 22:7 says that we are enslaved to those in whom we owe money to. We've all made our mistakes, some of us are still "paying" for them. It all comes from spending what we don't have.
- So do you really need it... or would it be nice to have?
- Do you have the cash for it... or are you thinking about that credit card?
- If you really need it, won't God provide it ?
