21.3 Opportunities to respond in faith

Last week we had a technical malfunction and lost the message, this week we got it. Wednesday was the last in the three part series on prayer entitled 21. We looked at what to do after we pray and have heard from God - we look for opportunities to make things happen…

Here are a few highlights…

God won’t do for you what you can do for yourself.

God does for us what only He can do.

Work like it all depends on you, pray like it all depends on God.

We looked at Samson (I Kings 3). He prayed for wisdom… God immediately gave him an opportunity to make a wise decision.

What about Daniel in chapter six where he prayed even though there was a decree against it? What was he praying? Maybe for God to be glorified? Maybe he wanted to trust God more? Maybe he wanted to influence the kind for God? God gave him an opportunity to do all of those things. Read about it in Daniel chapter six!
