Why didn't I do this sooner?!

Saturday morning my in laws came in for Madi's birthday party. This morning we all loaded up and went to the beach. I was really hoping for some waves so I could put Amber on a surf board (those of you who know Amber, stop laughing). Instead, we took a couple of boogie boards for the ginormous 1ft waves on the beach today.

At first Madi was so afraid of the waves, she just wanted to go in ankle high, by the end of the day she got the courage to go in and actually try riding the waves on the boogie board as you can see (don't mind the big fat guy in the background). She was hooked the first wave she shot out on, immediately she got up and said, "That was fun, lets do that again!!". Moments before she was afraid...

What do you fear?? What is it that God keeps bringing up over and over again. What is it that you keep running from? If God brings something up, time and time again, He probably wants to take you to a new level. When you obey Him and experience what He has been bringing to your attention, you'll probably ask the question, "Why didn't I do this sooner?!?"

So, what is it? What decision has God been bringing to your attention? The rewards will far outweigh any regrets you may have, if any.

On a side note:
Dad had the bright idea of trying to double on a boogie board made for someone the size of Madi... it didn't go so well. Flying off Dad's shoulders at 100 mph isn't the best motivation for your 5 year old to jump on a boogie board by herself. I'm so glad we didn't do this first or she would have never tried it by herself.
