5.20.08 prayer

This morning as we prayed on the bridge, the moon was beaming! It's light was reflecting off the water as if God was whispering to us, "I'm here with you."

After we got finished praying, I looked behind me and this is what I saw...

I can't help but be amazed at His glory!! Psalm 19:1 rings so loud to me when I see His beautiful creation. I think David may have gotten it wrong (before you crucify me let me explain). I don't think that the heavens "tell" or "declare" the glory of God, I think they SHOUT OUT with a loud voice the glory of God! I heard it loud and clear this morning as I overlooked the heart of our city...

To be honest with you, after everyone left, I took a walk across the bridge looking with amazement at God's glory (for those of you who follow me on twitter, you saw it too, as I twitpic'd what I saw).
Tears began to fill my eyes because I was in such awe of God. When I left, God showed me this sunrise as to say, "If you thought that was awesome, check this out!!" The first picture is at 6:34am, the next one was taken only a minute or two later.

Call me an over-zealous nature freak who takes way to many pictures, but I saw the glory of God this morning and I had to share it with you. The invitation is open to everyone, if you want to pray with us this week - 5:30am Stinson Park.
