YPS

Monday morning at 4:30 am I heard the most ungodly noise imaginable - my alarm clock ("eh,eh,eh,eh" - you know what it sounds like.) Amber, myself, Aaron Caulder, Robbie (Bert) Scott, and Alex Davis all went down to Universal Studios for the Youth Pastors Summit. There were a handful of speakers, but the one I enjoyed the most was Francis Chan. I got to meet him outside and ya'll know I ain't shy to take a picture. This one turned out better than the Voddie pic!

After hearing speakers until about 3:00 that afternoon, they handed us all tickets to go into both parks for the rest of the day. This is one of my favorite days of the year! We all decided to go to Universal Studios first because Amber had never ridden The Mummy before, from the looks of the picture, I guess she'll never ride it again! If you've ridden it before you know it's an in the dark roller coaster filled with not so nice looking creatures. It's a pretty sweet ride! As you can tell, Amber absolutely loved it!

Upon leaving the park, we heard the sounds of hip-hop. There was a Hispanic break dancing team doing a demonstration for everyone. What made the show really interesting was when they picked Alex Davis from the crowd to break dance for everyone (Rob, I'm still waiting on the video - for everyone else it will be on you tube soon! You gotta see it!).

After leaving Universal Studios, we headed over to Islands of Adventure! Here we enjoyed riding Dueling Dragons, a feet dangling roller coaster that simultaneously races another. It too is a pretty sweet ride. Amber and I got to ride in the front! The other two girls don't look too excited about it!

On the way home we all stopped and ate dinner at the Macaroni Grill. They need to get one in Jax! At 10:30 we made a final stop at a brand new Starbucks off I-95 for some espresso! I DID NOT KNOW there were little cameras at the drive thru order menu! I got out of the car and put my eye up to the camera, it was late and we were all tired, we needed a laugh. I hope the Barista's didn't spit in our coffee. Even with two shots of espresso, I fell asleep right when I got home. It was a long day, but a lot of fun!
