"Why are they looking at me? Are they looking at me? I wonder what they think of me?"
These are questions that we all struggle with from time to time. We are so concerned with what people think of me. I have met very few people that don't care what people think of them... usually they're shameless.
Tonight Aaron Caulder spoke to us about a poor self image. A poor self image will imprison us, keep us from being legendary for God, and drive us further into sin. The truth of God's word says that we are His masterpiece!
"We are His workmanship..." - (Eph 2:10)
We are a work of art! Did you see Micah's canvas painting for the Easter production? Incredible!! Breathtaking!! That was just some paint on a canvas! You are a living, breathing, walking, creation of God - You are a designer original! You are created in the very image of God (Genesis 1:26)! Most days we forget that, and we go on being imprisoned by what others think of us!
As Prison Break comes to a close I want to challenge everyone to recognize the prison that you may be in, and break free! The truth of Jesus Christ can and will set you free. John 8:32 says that the TRUTH will set you free!!! Though the series is over, God is probably still working in your life. If you need someone to talk to let me know.
