Legendary: Moses

Wednesday night was the third message in the Legendary series. In my opinion it was one of our best nights. Click here to be redirected to our podcast page. You can also find us on I-tunes under "Pluthministry".

There is no doubt in our minds that Moses was a man who was used in a legendary way by God! As you read his story, it's not all bravery and hereoics. God called Moses from a burning bush to do something legendary for Him. In the process, Moses denied God five times. Here are his excuses:

  1. Who am I?
  2. What do I say?
  3. What if they don't believe me?
  4. I 'm not a good speaker?
  5. He just told God to get someone else!

From our series thusfar we've looked at one key thing each week. The first is that in order to be used by God in a legendary way you must be average. Secondly, you must walk with God, and through Moses we saw that you have to give Him what you got. Sorry if that's bad english, but from where I'm from, it just fits.

What did Moses have? A staff, in other words it was nothing but "A STICK"! Wow! Can you imagine telling God, "Here God all I have is a stick...". That's all Moses had, but he gave it to God and He used him in a legendary way. I usually don't push listening to messages, but If you have 30 minutes, I'd listen. In my opinion I think it's worth it!

What do you have to give to God? No matter how small you think it is, it can be used in a legendary way when it's placed in the hands of God. I'll ask again...

What do you have to give to God?
