Tonight we had a small group bible study at Starbucks. There were about 7 of us there. Every time I go into Starbucks the Lord brings this guy named Mario across my path. I make it a point to speak to him every time I see him. Tonight, as I was ordering my Americano, I asked him what I could pray for him. He said he needed more money (as I was leaving I prayed that God would give him a little financial boost in order to spark his thoughts that maybe God is real). The girl next to him heard me, she said I could pray for her son Gianni, that he was sick.
If you can remember to pray for Gianni and Mario I would appreciate it. I have been trying to build a relationship with Mario for some time now, I want to share the gospel with him when the Lord opens the door. In the mean time I just pray that he sees Jesus in me. Sometimes ministry people can get so sucked into the world of the church that we have very little relationships outside the church. It takes work, but I don't want to be like that. Please pray for Mario as the Lord tries to use me to reach him.
