Maggiano's

Tonight all the nursery coordinators and their husbands went to the St. John's Town Center to eat at Maggiano's. WOW, it was so good! Because the group was so large they had to serve us family style. Yeah, that's Ken Brown sticking his head over the table for the picture. We had a great time being together, not to mention some incredible food. Here's the spread, we had Caesar salad, fried zucchini, bruschetta, fettuccine alfredo, chicken marsala, chicken parmesan, and a meat lasagna that I may have killed someone over. Yeah, it was that good! Then there was dessert. Those of you who know me, you know that I'd rather have a second helping of lasagna (and I did by the way) instead of dessert. But, the cheese cake here was pretty good. They also brought us out these towering chocolate cakes. I don't care too much for chocolate, but this thing was unbelievable too. When they brought them out for us to share... lets just say Danny Green was zoning in on the chocolate cake that stood 8inches tall. Seriously, Danny had to knock it down on it's side to cut it. I wish I took a picture of it. I did however, get a picture of Danny demolishing the cake. Everyone got their own little dessert plates. Next thing we know Danny is eating off the plate it came out on. I found out one thing about Danny tonight, when it comes to chocolate cake, it's probably better to just get out of his way.
