I have been reading and studying a lot about angels recently. That is my topic as I write for Word of Life. There are many things that blow your mind when it comes to angels. But, where I'm at in my life right now, this verse tops it all for me.
Beware that you don’t look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that in heaven their angels are always in the presence of my heavenly Father. - Matthew 18:10 (nlt)
I just want to praise God that He has a guardian an angel assigned to each of my children. He gave them to me and watches over them for me. When do children no longer have "their" angel? I'm not sure, scripture isn't clear on that. One thing the bible is clear on is this, that He will command His angels to keep guard over His children, whether it is age 3 or 93 (Psalm 91:11). I just praise God for His angels and their behind the scenes work in our life. There is a good book on angels by Billy Graham. It's called "Angels: God's Secrete Agent".
