Reading some good stuff in Credo. The Apostle's Creed begins," I believe in God, the Father Almighty..." Two words Father Almighty. Boil it down to this, "My dad's stronger than your dad!" True - He's our daddy (abba father - Romans 8:15) and He is almighty. What if we truly believed that? "I do", yeah sure you do (not just in your head, but in your heart). Here are some interesting thoughts that I read.
If I truly believed in God the Father Almighty I would...
- Trust Him more, complain less
- Smile more, frown less
- Be quicker to forgive, slower to get angry
- Risk more because I am secure in Him love
- Be quicker to share Christ, less worried of what others think of me
- Say, "your will be done" and actually mean it because my Father is not my enemy
- Pray more, pout less
- Enjoy what I already have, knowing that if I truly needed something else, my Father in heaven would give it to me.

I saw a shirt yesterday at Lifeway Books that said, " I am a princess because my Daddy's a King." I've never thought of it that way. I guess we have to get our prince and princess waves perfected so we can look good going down the streets of gold
Good word. Needed that! Attitude tune up!
