CROSSOVER

Just a reminder about CROSSOVER, the student ministry fall retreat coming up November 10-12. We will leave the church at 8:00 Saturday morning 11/10 and return Monday 11/12. The cost is $65 if you sign up by WEDNESDAY OCTOBER 24th!!! That's this Wednesday :-) If you sign up by Wednesday you are guaranteed a t-shirt. If you sign up afterwords, the price not only jumps to $75, but you won't get a tshirt :-(

We are covering four topics that for the most part students struggle in (don't let the cat out of the bag, but adults struggle with these as well :-).

1. Purity... 'nuff said

2. Words... We all struggle with our words, whether we hurt someone with our words, are negative with our words, use foul language, or just like to gossip. Jesus said that what comes out of the mouth comes from the heart.

3. Peer pressure & Hypocrisy... It's been said that the number one cause of atheism in the world today comes from Christians who profess Jesus with their lips, but deny Him with their lifestyle. Why do we care so much about what other people think and fall to peer pressure?

4. This topic you'll have to come to hear about it... But this last topic is the key to be able to "CROSSOVER" from failure to victory in these areas of our life!
