Unmasked: innocence

Wednesday night we continued in our series entitled: UNMASKED. It was the fourth message in the series as we looked at The Mask of Innocence. When we don't take responsibility for things in our life, we wear the mask of innocence.

We looked at a couple who wore the mask of innocence, thousands of years ago - Adam & Eve. In Genesis 3:1-17 we saw the blame go from God, to others, and then to Satan. None of Adam and Eve's excuses held up and neither do ours. Here are a few highlights...

  • You can't blame others for your actions. You have a mind, you have a choice, and you have a voice.

  • "Honesty paves the way to intimacy with God" - Perry Noble

  • "Its - My - Fault"

  • Take the mask off, humble yourself, and be honest

  • "If someone came to you in humility and apologized, how would you respond?"

To get the rest, just listen here on the blog. You can also find our messages in the Itunes podcasts section under "pluthministry".

Motive-8.3 Guilt

Wednesday night was the 3rd message in our Motive-8 series. Aaron Caulder brought us a message on guilt. Why do you do the things you do?

Why do you do good works? If you dug down deep in the seat of your emotions, would you find that you do it out of an attempt to please God? Are you trying to over compensate for something in your past?

God can't possibly love you any more than he already does! If you have had genuine confession he can't offer you any more forgiveness than He already has. He's not up in Heaven saying to you, "I'm still a little bit mad at you for that stunt you pulled last year."

Aaron brought a great message on being motivated by guilt, listen to it here.
