FNL 12.05.08

• FNL was awesome tonight!! (here are some pics, they're mostly of a beat up car)

• The band ROCKED! They opened up with Red's "Breathe Into Me"... dude, it sounded so good. They also played "You Decide" by Fireflight - it rocked!

• I am thankful for Seth Mallard's leadership in the band tonight - JESUS was lifted up!!

• The whole night was meshed with one message... "don't get entangled in sin, it doesn't matter what you've done - you can come to the cross."

• I spoke on being entangled in sin & how to get free. Here's how from Hebrews 12:1-2... 1. Free yourself from sin (cut yourself off from it) 2. Fix your eyes on Jesus (find mercy, grace, & forgiveness). God moved in many students lives tonight!

• I heard a few times that Judy's hot wings were AMAZING!! (looking forward to the next FNL on January 23rd!)

• God REALLY moved tonight!! It was incredible! Half way through the worship, the altar was filled with students praying. The next set of worship was seriously all about Jesus.

• The skit!! Wow, it made me cry (a little)

• Thanks to Ken Manning, I had 100 yards of rope to use as an illustration (I was dreading rolling it back up - but with 7 dudes helping out it wasn't too bad.)

• This FNL Dustin Gandy & Jay Soltis had a great idea that had to do with a car, some sledge hammers, and some spray paint. Here it is...
