HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with their family. Here's how mine turned out...
- Woke up at 6am to the sounds of Madi & Lily fighting with each other. (When you let them sleep in the same twin bed, I guess it gets a little crowded.) They went back to sleep till 7, Amber & I got to sleep in till 9... Thanks Mom & Dad!!
- Amber made french toast this morning (mmmm!)
- I spread a large bag of rye grass seed in my yard. (along with the help of Madi & Lily... I expect some parts of my yard to be REAL GREEN in some spots!) I look forward to my weed yard turning into a grass yard in a few weeks.
- Played outside with the kids, spent a lot of time with the tree swing. (Lily reached a new height this afternoon as she touched the tree limbs - we had fun!)
- At 3:00 we came inside to a delicious Thanksgiving meal... dang, it was good!! (Smithfield honey glazed spiral cut ham, squash stuffing, sweet potato bake, broccoli casserole, rolls, mac & cheese, orange salad!!)
- Sat on the couch to watch the end of the Lions game... ZzzzZz zZzzZz zzZzz - woke up and Christmas with the Cranks was on... funny flick!
- To end the evening we had some oven baked apple pie & coffee while watching a Christmas classic - Home Alone!
