Motive8.5 LOVE

Wednesday night we wrapped up the Motive8 series. For the past 5 weeks we have asked the question, "WHY DO YOU DO WHAT YOU DO?". It's a great question to ask because we can get caught up in doing GOOD THINGS for the WRONG REASONS.

In weeks past we talked about being motivated by:

  • FEAR
  • GUILT
  • TRADITION

Last night Aaron Caulder wrapped it up with what we SHOULD be motivated by... LOVE! It's a simple Sunday school answer with a deep meaning. Listen to understand why we should be motivated by love...

Here are some things that stuck out to me as I listen to Aaron...

- "Christ can't love the world any more than He already does... but I can!"

- "If I get to heaven and haven't done all that God has planned for me to do, than I have gypted God!"

- "We are the embodiment of Christs love"

- "Jesus can't physically extend His arm out to people, we have to as the body of Christ."
