So, my wife was reading the latest issue of Oprah's Magazine today & she asked me to read something about Ben Affleck. The topic was, "Books that made a difference to Ben Affleck". Among a few other books, he had listed the book of Matthew.
To make a long story short... well, let me quote him, "The book is beautiful and exquisitely written - but it is characterized by one quality that colors every page: LOVE."
Just a reminder to me of what I thought about a lot this weekend. Remember whatever picture your painting of God as you try to imitate Him, if you want it to be accurate - you must walk in love (Ephesians 5:1-2). As you "serve God" this week & use your gifts, if love's not your reason, think about that annoying cymbal...
