Last night we began a new series entitled Fuel, more on that to come... we talked about what we read FUELS us. This morning I was reading Oswald Chambers. When I see a bow and arrow, I'll now think about myself in God's hands. Here's an excerpt...
"A saint's life is in the hands of God like a bow and arrow in the hands of an archer. God is aiming at something the saint cannot see, and He stretches and strains, and every now and again the saint says - "I cannot stand any more." God does not heed, He goes on stretching till His purpose is in sight, then He lets fly."
Do you ever wonder what in the world is God doing in your life?!? I do, I think we all do. We have to remember that the position he has us in now is shaping us for what's next. The position: "aimed" at His purpose. We can't see the target goal, but He can! He has full confidence that after He has stretched us and lets us go that we will hit the target right on and become what he has been shaping us for.
But for now, we wait in His hands & trust where He is aiming us...
