Buca's & prayer

Saturday night the college and career went to eat dinner at Buca Di Peppo's on Phillips highway. It was a long dinner, we were there for three hours!! At least the food was good... Ask Kyle about his SPF 45 pizza. I got a "small" lasagna, it was the size of a small cinder block. Yeah, I ate the whole thing. Afterwards some of us went to Mandarin Mills for a little batting cages and putt-putt.

God has been working in our college and career. This morning there were 23 there. On Tuesday nights the guys meet up at Panera for a small group. Robbie Scott challenged us to intentional prayer this week. We have committed to meet at 5:30am every morning to pray together at the Ortega bridge before the day starts. We'll do this for a week. Along with the prayer time, each of us are fasting from something unique to us. We really want to see God work in our life and our ministry. Pray for the college ministry as they grow and seek God's desire for them.

Tonight five of us gathered together at the bridge to talk about what we will be fasting from and to spend some time praying. It was a sweet time, talking to God together. The ride home wasn't so sweet. I found out from some city officials that I have a head light out.
