Last night we began a new series entitled, "The Venti Life". Alex Davis came in last night & brought his commercial espresso machine to make drinks for us. Thanks Dude!So, what is The Venti Life??? Do you ever hear of anyone saying, "I LOVE LIFE!"?? Not many of us have. It's because of the real life things that happen in our life - Life just happens to us. But in the midst of that you can have The Venti Life... or The Abundant Life. What does abundant mean? It means to have more than enough. Living Venti means that you are living on overflow. How do you get there?
Everyone who lives The Venti Life has one thing in common. It doesn't matter who you are, if you are living the abundant life, your doing this. WHAT IS IT?!?!? Hang on...
Last night we looked at kid in the book of Genesis, his name was Joseph. All throughout Joseph's life he did one thing and that one thing made him end up livin' venti on top of the world. The one thing that Joseph did was that he was always OBEDIENT TO GOD. That's it! Everyone who lives venti has a pattern of obedience.
What is your next step of obedience to God?
Be obedient to Him and live "The Venti Life"!!! Next week we look at Job... a man who went through trials as Joseph did, but when the process was finished, God doubled what he had before.
