Powered by www.pluthministry.podbean.comWhat do we know about Job? He was already a rich man livin venti right? Well there was more at the end of the story...
Job was a rich man already living an abundant life, yet at the end of his life God doubled what he already had. It was the time between that we learn about how Job lived the abundant life. The time between the beginning and the end of the book of Job tells of things Job couldn't wrap his head around. He wrestled, argued, and fought with God. What’s funny about it is the responses that God gave back to Job.
We serve a real, personable God, who thinks like we do, actually we think more like Him because we were created in the image of God. Now before you go throwing "God's thoughts aren't as our thoughts" at me - track with me first, I'm just saying that we can have a conversational thought process with God. Too often we think God is God and I can't talk with Him... He created us to have a "relationship" with Him. That doesn't just happen.
Anyway, back to Job...at the end of it all Job said, "Your God and I’m not!". He yielded himself to God… in essence Job did what everyone else does that live This abundant life, He simply yielded in obedience to God.
