Sean Byers @ St. Luke's

Meet Sean Byers, a soldier who was fighting for our freedom in Iraq this past year. Shortly after he got back to the states in January, Sean became very ill. Doctors have had a hard time finding out exactly whats going on.

This afternoon I went to see Sean Byers at St. Luke's. I called him as I was on my way to see if he wanted anything from "The Green Queen", but he said he was talking to the Doc's, that he'd call me back. When I arrived, he called my cell, I told him I was at the elevators, he said come on up that he had some good news! (Speaking of elevators, this is St. Luke's, you think they can afford a few more letters... Sean was on the 4th Flo!)

When I got there, his mom was sitting on the bed and he was chillin' in the recliner! Sean was lookin' good, much better then before! He said that the good news was that he would be able to go home in a few days!

We walked down the hall together to grab some of that yummy hospital coffee and talked about being used by God. Right before I left he ordered his hospital favorite, a "BBLT" (Double Bacon, Lettuce, & Tomato). He seriously loves the food there, says he's gonna miss it.

Sean is doing much better than he was. He STILL needs our prayers as the doctors seek to do whats best for him. Will you take a few seconds and pray for him?
