Disney: Madi & Mt. Everest

The last time we went to Disney Madi was just barely able to go on Mt. Everest (I think they bent the rules a little). I had convinced her to ride it with me. We waited in line, got all the way to the front, they were about to assign us a number... "Daddy, I don't want to ride it".

For those of you who don't know what Mt. Everest is, it's a roller coaster that travels forwards, then backwards in the dark, then changes tracks for a big drop before coming close to being eaten by a 25 foot Yeti! (Seriously it's intense, I'm not making that up)

This time it was different. Madi kept telling us today that she would ride it when she gets to be "five years old" (which would be in June). Well as Amber and I went to get on, she said she would ride it! After it was over, I looked back at her and she had a look of terror in her eyes, then she said she loved it, that it was so much fun!

The first time was with Mom. The second time was with Dad! I had so much fun riding it with her! She had her eyes open as we were leaving the station... then she opened them again as we were pulling back in. I don't even think she knows there's a 25ft man eating Yeti at the end of the ride!
