The Donald

Tonight some of the college students met up at Panera. We talked about 1 Corinthians chapter one, you know about how God uses the "foolish" things of this world. I know you think I'm spinning off the Legendary thing, but I'm not. God uses the ordinary things of this world, not necessarily the extraordinary. Paul said in 1 Cor. 1:26 to look at most people used by God, not many mighty, famous, or impressive to the world. He uses average people so that when he does incredible things through them, the world and everyone else can say - "Wow, that's got to be God!"

We were talking about "mighty people" tonight in our small group. Robbie Scott said that The Donald's plane got flown into Jax today for some reason. While working on it someone broke a panel. They handed it to Rob to fix... yeah he touched the panel that came off of Donald Trump's plane - "Wooptie-stinking-doo" (sorry). What did The Donald do for The Savior?!? God wants to use YOU in His grand plan to bring glory to Himself.

When you think of yourself... "not wise, not noble, not mighty according to the flesh". That's ok, because he wants to use the ordinary for the extraordinary!!! So when people look at you and think - "WOW!", you can say Jesus Christ! Chapter 1 ends with Paul saying this...

"Let him who boasts,
boast in the Lord"
1 Cor 1:31 (nas)
