Middle School Game Night

Saturday night the middle schoolers had a game night. We all had a great time. The Stovall's brought a pizza up that I promise was 3ft wide (ok it was at least 24 inches across). One of the leaders was throwing large raisins across the room at the student pastor. I'm not saying who - just that her husband brought the pizza. We played lots of board games, one of my favorites was Monopoly...

This wasn't your parents Monopoly. This was was run by a cashless society. Seriously the money was run by a banker with a credit card swiper. Everything was run on debit cards. When you pass go, you don't collect $200 like your grandma did - you collected 2 million. Just another reminder that we're moving fast towards a cashless society - and the return of Jesus Christ! Are you ready for His return?

What I liked about this game was that it didn't last 4 hours, it lasted 4o minutes! Of course if you landed on Times Square, you had to pony up 20 million dollars! When you start out with 15 Million on a debit card - it goes fast! We had lots of fun Saturday night. I know I did!!! I ended the game having hotels on half the board :-)

Monopoly anyone?
