Paul's life was characterized by selflessness. From the Damascus road to the day he was beheaded he lived life not unto himself, but unto God! As he bid farewell to his friends in Ephesus he told them, "You will no longer see my face" (Acts 20). He knew he would never see them again, for chains awaited him in Jerusalem. In obedience he went! Why? Because he said in Acts 20:24...
"I do not consider my life
of any account as dear
to myself" - The Apostle Paul
Paul was legendary because he lived the crucified life! He said it best in Galatians 2:20 that he was crucified with Christ, not that he lives, but CHRIST lives through him! That's the key to living in a legendary way for God! Make the decision to die!
Last night we laid a cross on the floor with a few hammers and some nails. To commemorate what legendary dreams God has laid in these students heart, I asked them to grab a nail and nail it to the cross to symbolize their "decision to die".
