Lifelog

I enjoyed the message last night. During the video on Children's camp I leaned over to Steve Whitcomb and said to him, "You had a Joel Osteen flavor on that, it was very encouraging." It was encouraging to see that God's favor hasn't run out, that His grace, mercy, and loving kindness never runs out, & that He hasn't withdrawn his compassion. It was a great reminder of how God will work in 2008. Steve spoke about journaling. That spoke to me. Though it's probably rather personal, I'd love to take a peek at Steve's journal for a few minutes to see how God has worked over the years in his life.

Can you believe it, three days have already passed! Didn't it seem like we were celebrating New Year's & watching the ball drop a day ago?!? Time flies by, before we know it March will be here. I was challenged to keep a life log. I know Pluthpastor is kind of like that, but I wanted to try and do something a little more concise & consistent.

I began another blog called Lifelog. Not that anyone really cares about the day to day stuff in my life, I just wanted to "try" to keep a life log. I choose a blog because if I kept it in paper form like a notebook I'd probably loose it (ya'll know me). Plus, I'm not sure I could read my own writing, typing is much easier for me. Who knows, I may only make it a few weeks or months, but I am gonna give it a shot. Hopefully I can be disciplined enough to write down what happened in my life that day, so I can remember what God did as I celebrate New Year's 2009!
