Sorry for "multi-blogging" in one day, but I had to share this. It seems like anytime I sit down in our living room, one of the kids jumps in my lap which makes the other one a little jealous. Needless to say that this morning both Madi and Lily were in my lap. Obviously Madi did something Lily didn't like, because she reached over to pull her hair. I immediately got on to Lily. That's not the kind of gleaming quality a parent wants for their daughter. Anyway, Madi said to Lily, "That's ok I forgive you." She pulled her hair again a few seconds later. I made myself a little more clear to her that I didn't want her to pull Madi's hair. In return, Madi made herself clear to me in saying,"Dad I said I forgave her!" It was a reminder to me of Tommy's messages Sunday on forgiveness. They were great! Both of them from the perspective of those sitting in the chair...us! Sunday morning focusing on us as the "forgiver", Sunday night on us as the "forgiven". Both were great reminders of Colossians 3:12, "...forgiving one another, as the Lord forgave you." (esv)
